Summary
This is a non-commercial fan quiz with an anonymous leaderboard. It has no user accounts and does not ask for names, email addresses, profile details, or other free-text personal information. Leaderboard names are generated by the server from a canonical dragon species and a number.
Quiz and leaderboard records
To run, grade, and protect a quiz attempt, the application records:
- A cryptographic hash of a random, one-attempt capability; the selected difficulty, question-bank version, exact selected-question snapshot and order (including server-held grading and source metadata), server timing, state, and expiry.
- the completed score, total, percentage, category counts, correction report, authoritative duration, server completion time, and submission expiry. Submitted answer selections are processed to grade the attempt but are not retained by the server.
- While a name is reserved, the server-generated candidate name, its hashed binding to the completed attempt, reservation state, and expiry.
If a result is submitted, the leaderboard retains the generated name, difficulty, number correct, total questions, authoritative completion time, and acceptance time. Public leaderboard rows show only placement, generated name, score, and completion time.
What the application does not record
The application does not write IP addresses, hashed IP addresses, user-agent strings, referrers, device identifiers, browser fingerprints, persistent cookie identifiers, or cross-attempt visitor identifiers to its database or application logs. It uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking integration. No account or custom-name data exists. Application code sets no cookies.
The unhashed attempt capability and in-progress question IDs, position, and answer selections may be held in the current tab's session storage so an attempt can survive a reload. This state is not an account, is not placed in a URL or cookie, and is not reused for another attempt.
Hosting infrastructure
Cloudflare serves and protects the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare necessarily receives ordinary network and request information, including an IP address and request metadata, when a page or API request is delivered. Cloudflare may process or retain that information under its infrastructure settings and policies. That infrastructure handling is separate from the quiz and leaderboard fields listed above; this notice does not claim that infrastructure logs never exist.
Retention and control
Accepted leaderboard submissions and their server-authoritative attempt records are kept so rankings remain stable and generated names are never reused. Expired, unsubmitted attempts and unused name reservations may be removed. There is no public edit or deletion control because there is no account or ownership system capable of proving who submitted an anonymous row.
Changes
This notice may be updated if the site's data handling changes.
